Laminar Flow InletLow restriction inlet controller design results in little or no restriction through the intake. The improved flow means less energy consumption and more output. Kerry Air Intake FiltersPatented, full flow, low restriction filters that use ‘Ultra Web' nanofibre technology to further increase efficiency and maximise output.
316 Stainless Steel Control TubingStainless steel control tubing increases reliability as it has an indefinite lifespan unlike other materials such as nylon, copper or mild steel commonly used in other compressors.
'Centrifugal' Cooling FansHigher static pressure ensures these fans not only cool more efficiently they are much quieter than traditional cooling fans. An even air flow across the cooler face increases cooling efficiency and reduces power consumption.
High Efficiency Electric MotorsAll Southern Cross compressors use motors which comply with MEPS2 (Minimum Energy Performance Standard) requirements. All motors have F class insulation and are TEFC to IP 55.
Single Pass CoolersOnly single pass oil coolers are used, single pass coolers are not susceptible to thermal stress so not only are they more efficient they typically last longer.
Monitoring & ControlsAll Southern Cross compressors use a comprehensive control system that enables full monitoring and control of key functions.
Machine Guarding & SafetyGuarded rotating components, covered electrical components and internal spillage containment. The entire design significantly reduces the risk of workplace hazard or injury.
